Marie-Bénédicte Thomas’ main practice is international arbitration and dispute resolution.
Admitted at the Paris Bar since 2017, Marie-Bénédicte represents States in international arbitration proceedings governed by the rules of various institutions (including ICSID, ICC, OHADA, EDF rules) concerning a broad range of industries (construction, communication, defense or energy).
Marie-Bénédicte also represents States before State’s courts. She has an extensive experience in handling disputes related to set aside applications, appeal of exequatur, or enforcement of arbitral awards.
Marie-Bénédicte holds an LL.M in Business Law, Arabic World and Middle-East from Université Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne, an LL.M in Intensive and Accelerated Law from Queensland University, Brisbane, a Master 2 in International Economic Law and a Master 1 in International Business Law both from Université Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne.
